Speakers - Opera
Prima The Prima is an attractive two-way, bass reflex, medium-sized standmount model. It has an open and detailed sound with very good scale and bass weight for its dimensions and is front-ported, so close proximity placement to rear walls is possible for optimum room compatibility. Seconda A very interesting two-way floorstanding speaker. It has two completely separate internal chambers. The closed system leads to a very accentuated, tight bass response. By the 2-way design, it produces a very spatial, clear sound. Also, due to their construction, the Seconda is relatively uncritical in the listening room in the schedule. Quinta The new Quinta continues with the outstanding scale and depth of its predecessor and builds on it with the use of new drive units, crossover and cabinet design. It’s a true fullrange, dynamic loudspeaker that relays anything from jazz trios to full scale symphonic music with authority and detail, yet also delicacy. Mezza Opera Mezza is the smallest model of the “Classic Series”, it is a two way diffuser of about 8 internal litres with reflex load, constructed to be placed like a shelf or on a stand and characterised by a flat frequency response and an unexpected low frequencies reproduction Grand Mezza The design of the Grand Mezza is a natural evolution of the Opera Mezza . It is a “two-and-a-half” way floorstanding loudspeaker with a bass reflex load, characterised by a flat and wide frequency response and surprisingly low frequency reproduction. This is part in thanks to the very high quality, high dynamic drivers employed and results in an exceptional price/quality ratio.
Callas The Diva is a smaller version of the Divina but retains much of the larger models scale and authority and all of the style and finish. Deep bass, an open midrange and sweet treble define its sophisticated sound. It offers a taste of real high-end sound and unrivalled elegance at its reasonable price. Grand Callas The Callas Divina represents the new top of the range for this line. The sound of the Divina is unmistakably large scale and realistic, with excellent bass extension and drive but with the sweetness and detail that has come to be expected of the company. Caruso The Caruso model implements all the technical solutions developed by Opera in the last 3 years: the “progressive” low pass filter developed for the Divina model, the CLD (Crossed Linked Dipole) developed for the Tebaldi model, the new 8” inches woofers. All these added to our studies on psycho-acoustic and room acoustics. Tebaldi The Tebaldi is Opera’s culmination of years of technological, musical and design experience.
