Why Your Records Need More Than a Brush
When a vinyl record is pressed at the factory, a release agent is baked into the groove itself. Every time your stylus runs through that groove, it heats up that residue, welding dust particles deeper into the surface. Over time, this builds up — silencing the detail, warmth, and dynamics the artist intended. Wiping, vacuuming, or rinsing with cleaning fluid can’t touch it.
The KA-RC-1 can.
The Science Made Simple
Using 35kHz ultrasonic cavitation — the same technology used in professional laboratory and medical equipment — the KA-RC-1 creates millions of microscopic bubbles that collapse with enormous energy directly inside your record grooves. This dislodges and lifts out contaminants that nothing else can reach.
But Kirmuss goes further than standard ultrasonic cleaners. A specially developed ionising surfactant spray (included) is applied to each record before cleaning. This temporarily reverses the electrical charge of the record, attracting the ultrasonic plasma wave directly into the grooves — something no other system on the market does. The result is true groove restoration, not just surface cleaning.
A passive 70kHz resonance works alongside the primary frequency to evenly distribute the cleaning energy across the record, protecting it from damage while maximising results.
