1. Newly-designed Magneto System
The appearance and material of magneto system are newly designed about the high efficiency and high resolution for providing for monaural. R of end of stylus chip to key of tracing is set to 1.0 mil. For cantilever, the aluminum pipe, which is light and strong and excellent to capability tracing a monaural signal, is adopted. By combining the originally-designed magneto coil with this, the recreation of excellent feeling of sound field and freshness has been successfully realized, which has been difficult for the conventional monaural cartridges.
2. Strong Body Structure
As the materials of base and body we adopt stainless material and duralumin respectively. Furthermore, DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) *1) coating is conducted; thereby, the structure excellent at rigidity and vibration-damping characteristics is realized.
*1) DLC (Diamond Like Carbon） is a generic name of carbon film to be produced with vapor phase synthesis utilizing ion processing; and the high rigidity and high electric insulation similar to a diamond are provided for it.
3. Inheriting the Materials for High Quality Audio Sound
We inherit the following materials for high quality audio sound well-acknowledged in our PP-1000: samarium-cobalt magnet, magneto coil made of 6N oxygen-free copper wire, pure iron coil bobbin and others.
