Despite its small “hockey-puck” footprint, the WiiM Mini is built for serious listening. Over Wi-Fi it supports high-resolution streaming from services like Qobuz, TIDAL, Amazon Music, Spotify, Deezer, and more through the WiiM Home app. AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and TIDAL Connect let you cast music directly from their native apps, while DLNA support makes it easy to play local files from a NAS or computer. Connection options stay deliberately simple. A 3.5 mm analogue output lets you feed the internal DAC into an auxiliary input on a receiver, amplifier, powered speaker, or radio. There is also a 3.5 mm analogue input, so a turntable with a phono stage, a portable player, or another line-level source can be shared across your multi-room system. Volume can be fixed or variable, giving you the choice of controlling level from your amp or directly within the app.
Daily use is handled almost entirely through the WiiM Home app for iOS and Android. From there you can browse streaming services, adjust EQ, set alarms and sleep timers, save presets for favourite stations or playlists, and manage multi-room groups. AirPlay 2 support adds native integration for Apple users, while Alexa and Google compatibility enable voice control when linked with compatible smart speakers.
